What's an annotation? -my.resolution.org.uk

An annotation is a bit like a personal footnotes that you can add to a precedent into a specific agreement you are drafting.

For instance you may find it useful to add an annotation to a precedent if you wish to add a personal reminder or query that you can come back to later.

You can then add your annotation in the free text box that appears below your active precedent:

To see your annotation in the exported document - you'll need to select: "Export with annotations".

The annotation you add to the precedent will appear in red italics at the bottom the paragraph where it has been added, once the agreement is exported in Word.

The text of the annotation can be deleted/modified in the Word just like the rest of the text in the exported agreement.
